About the role:
We’re looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our team and help drive technical excellence and ensure that we are delivering innovative solutions to our customers. You will support our customers through day-to-day maintenance, support of the network environment, core network upgrades and projects, monitoring network engineering performance and ensuring system availability and reliability.
Some of the key things you’ll do:
- Responsible for the network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
- Oversee Project and BAU operations, ensuring optimal network performance and compliance of firewalls, routers, switches, wireless, and load balancers.
- Manage design, plan, and execute network projects, ensuring smooth handover to operations.
- Monitor network performance, resolve incidents proactively and ensure service continuity within SLAs.
- Act as an escalation point for complex network issues and major incidents.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven expertise as a Network Engineer managing Projects and BAU operations in an MSP environment.
- Strong skills in implementing, administering, and troubleshooting:
- Routing & Switching: Cisco (ASR/Nexus), Meraki, SD-WAN (Fortinet, Meraki).
- Virtualisation - NSX-T.
- Firewalls: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco.
- Load Balancers: Citrix, F5.
- Wireless: Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki.
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking, SD-WAN, and SASE solutions (desirable).
- Ability to support multi-tenant environments and customers with varying architectures and business needs.
- Strong ITIL/ITSM knowledge, with relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
